2 months!

(let's ignore that this is 6 days late)

Dear Addison,

WOW, I can't believe you're already two months old!  (it STILL feels like we just got home yesterday with you)

You are becoming quite the little lady.  When we go to bed at night, I can't wait to wake up the next day to spend it with you!  Your personality comes out a little more each day, which is really fun to watch.  Your smiles are bigger, you talk more and more, and yes, your cries are even louder.  Here's what I hope we all remember:

- At your 2-month well visit, you were 10 pounds, 14 ounces (49th percentile) and you were 24.5 inches long (87%).  Definitely a little string bean. :)

- It's no wonder you're staying skinny - you move CONSTANTLY.  I even (half jokingly) asked the doctor if you were hyperactive (don't worry, you're not).  Dad attributes all the extra activity to me...

- That's about all I see of mama in you.  Looks-wise, you are all dad right now.  Everyone who sees you agrees.

- On top of babbling a little more every day, you've also added an adorable little gasp while you're smiling  - the beginnings of a laugh.  Can't wait for that first real giggle!

- Night sleep is still great.  You're getting more and more consistent at going down at 7:30, and it seems like your best wake up time is around 6:45am.  The other night you slept for 9 hours straight!  Most nights it's more like 5-6 hour stretches, wake up to eat for 10 minutes, then back asleep.  We're working towards only one wake up at night (last night went great).

- Day sleep is coming better too.  You seem to want a 2-3 hour nap in the morning from 8:00-10:30ish, a one hour nap from 12-1, and another 2-3 hour nap somewhere between 2:30 and 5:30.  Of course some days this doesn't happen, which is when we have issues...

- You don't do well without your rest, which is tough when you fight naps.

- Newest discovery: your hands.  It's especially fun for you to lick them incessantly.

- The baby acne, cradle cap, and random rashes are gone.  Whew.

- You're doing a great job holding your head up and looking around.  The doctor commented on how strong your arms, legs, and neck are.  Which is surprising because right now you absolutely refuse more than about 30 seconds of tummy time.  Just think what a body builder you could be! ;)

We love you more every day sweet girl.
