Photo dump

Last weekend, we attended a Low Country party featuring a shrimp boil and a live band.  It was hosted by Bynum and Catherine, and they did a great job!  I took a bunch of photos (I am still getting acquainted with my new camera.  Wait, did I mention I finally got my camera???  Ahh yeah!), so I'll let the pictures do the talking.  I also apologize for the 1823918237 pictures.  I just learned you can upload straight from Picasa to Blogger, and well, I'm just kicking myself for not discovering this earlier, because it's soo easy.

Here's the band, taken before the police arrived.  Yes, at a family party on a Saturday afternoon where babies nearly outnumbered adults, the town police arrived to regulate.  My friend Jolie, as she ducked her head from the TWO policemen's view, joked that she felt like she was 16 again. The volume was adjusted and all was right again in the world.

Lissy, who just found out she too is having a GIRL, got some good practice with my little sweetums.
