Kitchen update

We're done with the tough part!  It wasn't nearly as scary as I expected, and no sandstorms broke out.


We spent all day Sunday after church sanding (thanks, Addie, for taking an awesome nap so we could both work!), and then cleaning up after the sanding.  Here's where we're at:

just a touch dusty.

It's also super clean right now, even under the range hood and behind the oven, after multiple stages of deep cleaning.  

I'm off to Colorado for the rest of the week, so Danny will tackle priming while we're gone.  We figured it was better not to have the fumes around Addie anyway so that worked out well.  A man also came today to measure for the countertops, so things are moving.
