September

September is HERE!  I absolutely love September.  New school year (will write on my feelings on that very soon), college football starting, and of course my birthday. :) So many things to get excited about.

This year is certainly no different, though the things occupying my mind have changed a bit.  Namely, now that it's September, I can officially say "We'll be having our baby next month."  What?!  How did this happen?  I used to casually throw out, "Oh, she's not due til October" as if October were at least a decade away.  Hmm, time has flown.  Speaking of flying: I am in fact starting to feel like a blimp.

Addison continues to grow, kick, and generally make me a very happy lady.  I feel fantastic, still run or swim every day, and have tons of energy.  So thankful to God for these gifts!

Also this year, September is bringing us our very first home.  I'm going to need a better picture, so I'll do another post once we're in, but here she is, in the middle:

The whole process has been crammed into less than a month, which is insane.  Danny truly gets all the credit, as he has worked tirelessly on offers, loans, finances, inspections, and endless paperwork (all without a realtor!).  He is absolutely amazing.  Did I mention he's working full time (full time = overtime for most people... lots of nights and weekends involved) AND he just started his PhD?!  I'm in awe of that man.  We plan to close Sept. 12, and hopefully start moving right away.  I told Danny all I wanted for my birthday this year (and next year... and the next 30 years...) was a house, and it's actually happening!  

Lots more to update soon, including my (not) back-to-school edition and baby shower fun.  I'm off now for some really fun stuff now, like taking Aslan to the vet for his check up.  Here goes several hours, and several more dollars... :)
